City of Parramatta Council
Junk Collection

Council clean-up rules last checked: June 2026.
City of Parramatta Council runs kerbside bulky waste clean-ups for residents who receive a Council domestic waste service. Depending on your address, collections are either pre-booked (up to four times per calendar year) or at scheduled dates during the year. To find out which applies to your property, book, or check your scheduled date, contact Council's contractor Veolia on 1300 580 811 or search your address at mywastecollections.com.au/cityofparramatta. Note that your next available pre-booked date can be up to four weeks away.
How to prepare
For pre-booked properties, the council allows up to four kerbside clean-ups per calendar year. Book online at mywastecollections.com.au/cityofparramatta or call Veolia on 1300 580 811. Once booked, print the Booked Clean Up sign from the portal and attach it clearly to your items.
Items placed at the kerb without a booking, or earlier than the night before your booked or scheduled collection date, are treated as illegal dumping and can result in a fine.

Our alternative option
Parramatta Council's own booking page notes that your next available pre-booked clean-up date can be up to four weeks away. And if your address falls on a scheduled-collection cycle, you may have no on-demand booking option at all.
That wait, combined with what the council won't collect (e-waste, glass sheets, building materials, food scraps), leaves most households with items they can't move on council day. Paul's Rubbish Removal takes what the council won't, handles loads over the 2 cubic metre limit, and does it same-day across Parramatta if you book before 10am.
Mattresses removed at no extra charge, no limit per job.
