Why We Recycle & Why You Should Too

Week after week we collect all our rubbish, fill them up in our council collection bins and haul them out onto the street ready for pick up. We sit them out for a night and magically the next day the bins are emptied and our two bins are returned to us, ready for another week of refilling.

Most of us don’t think about where the rubbish goes because that’s frankly none of our concern. We pay our tax and that’s enough we’d say.

However, did you know that each and every one of us on this Earth has a crucial role to play in the way we sustain and grow with the planet?

Recycling plays a pivotal part in how we move forward as a species, and it all starts with what we do at home.

It’s important to realise that just by sorting your rubbish in the recycling bins provided, you’re making it easier for the recycling companies to recycle and reuse your trash wherever possible. This includes the recycling of newspapers, water bottles, cans and glass bottles. Many of these items can be used reformed and reused once if not many times. This can significantly reduce the new raw materials required to produce additional goods.

The Paul’s Rubbish Recycling Initiative

At Paul’s Rubbish, our rubbish removal Sydney team are passionate about recycling as much junk, rubbish and trash as possible. Out of all old and unused materials we collect, we then sort them accordingly, ready to be disposed of appropriately.

We work with the recycling plant on a continual basis to ensure that the junk collected is recycled or used in the most effective manner possible. Whether that means recycling or donating unused goods.

Just like that old saying goes, ‘One man’s junk is another man’s treasure’. After over ten years of being in the rubbish removal industry, we’ve learnt to appreciate this term heavily.

If there’s something we think would be of value to someone less fortunate, we’ll then donate the item on behalf of the customer who initially called us to collect and dispose of it. We wholeheartedly believe in this initiative.

If you think you may have anything you need collected and disposed of, please call Paul’s Rubbish on 0407 125 125. We’ll provide you with an obligation-free quote and be out to your place before you know it!
